Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description
Accosis is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, security, and reliability of our fintech applications, including UPI payments, banking services, web platforms, mobile applications, and backend microservices.
Key Responsibilities
Perform manual and automated testing of web, mobile, and backend applications.
Develop and maintain API, UI, integration, and regression automation.
Test REST APIs, gRPC services, and microservice integrations.
Validate UPI, payment, refund, settlement, and reconciliation workflows.
Verify transaction accuracy, database consistency, and error handling.
Test authentication, OTP, RBAC, and API security controls.
Execute functional, regression, smoke, performance, and negative testing.
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to ensure release quality.
Required Skills
3–6 years of software testing experience.
Strong knowledge of manual and automation testing.
Hands-on experience with Postman and REST API testing.
Experience with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
Automation scripting using JavaScript or TypeScript.
Knowledge of SQL, databases, and microservices.
Experience testing React web and Android/iOS applications.
Understanding of Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills
Fintech, banking, UPI, or payment gateway testing.
React Native automation using Appium, Maestro, or Detox.
Performance testing using k6 or JMeter.
Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and OWASP security testing.
