Students use HearthAway to secure housing across the UK, Ireland, and France prior to arrival, allowing them to “find accommodation before you fly” and arrive with greater peace of mind.
Role Description The Global Property Consultants role is a full-time, hybrid position based in New Delhi, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. In this role, the consultant will guide international students through the accommodation selection process by understanding their needs, presenting suitable options, and explaining differences between property types and locations. Daily responsibilities include managing inquiries, scheduling and conducting consultations (online and in-person), coordinating with property partners, and maintaining accurate records of student preferences and bookings. The consultant will also help improve internal processes by sharing insights on student needs, market trends, and partner performance, and will contribute to the development of content and tools that make housing decisions simpler and more transparent. Collaboration with the wider team to ensure high-quality service, timely responses, and a consistent student experience across regions is a key aspect of the role.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain housing options clearly and build trust with international students and property partners.
Customer service and consultation skills, including active listening, problem-solving, and handling multiple inquiries with attention to detail.
Organizational and time-management abilities to manage schedules, follow up on leads, and keep accurate records in CRM or similar systems.
Comfort with digital tools and online platforms, including video conferencing, collaborative tools, and basic data entry or reporting.
Knowledge or interest in international education and student housing markets, especially in the UK, Ireland, and France, is an advantage.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment from New Delhi, collaborating with a distributed team and adapting to changing priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in any field; experience in real estate, accommodation services, study abroad consulting, or related domains is a plus.
Professional fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to international student communities are beneficial.
