Your future duties and responsibilities
You will be working on a Greenfield, Cloud hosted Endur implementation, playing a key role in performing various stages of testing via automation.
You will be bringing your expertise to the team, working hand-in-hand with dedicated BA, SME’s and developers to understand and develop test scenarios, building test packs required for functional, regression and integrations, design and automate the test approaches and defects management. A sense of team ownership and empowerment will be fostered.
As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible to utilize the approved test automation frameworks to design and develop automation in a fast-paced agile environment.
Perform end-to-end test activities such as test script development, test data, test execution & defects management.
Work collaboratively with Test Manager, Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers in project to assess test scenarios and provide test requirements based on risk-based testing methodology.
Capable of designing and execution of detailed functional test cases for complex requirements
Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements that improve the level of delivery while finding optimization opportunities
Proactive and Organized, Capable of working in an ambiguous/uncertain environment, understanding risks & flagging it on time. Ability to mitigate risks and ensuring quality deliverables adhering to timelines.
Flexible overlapping with UK/US across time zones because this role requires coordination with stakeholders in UK/US
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Skill Requirement
Experience in any ETRM system preferably Endur
Experience in designing Test Automation with strong programming skills.
Strong understanding of the Software design/architecture process and Manual testing concepts.
Experience with database testing should be well versed with complex SQL queries.
Skills in test integrations, defect management and test management
Ability to work across time zones and be flexible
Good to Have
Experience in Gas and Power business/life cycle.
Knowledge on CI, CD integration with automation suite
Experience in using source controllers GIT.
Experience in Azure DevOps.
Knowledge on Kafka integrations.
