About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

Location: Remote (PA, MI, TX, VA, CA or CO) with hybrid option in Allentown, PA
Start Date: Immediately
Are you tech-savvy with a passion for untangling complex systems? Do you geek out over HubSpot updates, think of life in workflows, and dream in CRM?
SmartAcre is a B2B marketing and revenue operations (RevOps) agency and HubSpot Solutions Partner. We help SaaS, manufacturing, healthtech, and professional services companies build HubSpot systems that scale with their revenue goals.
As a HubSpot Solutions Engineer, you are our HubSpot expert. You know how the platform is built, from its object model and data architecture to how the Hubs work together, and you follow where HubSpot is heading. You use that knowledge to configure HubSpot around each client's business instead of forcing the client into a template. On most projects, you work alongside another lead who owns timelines, budgets and the client relationship. Senior team members may also own smaller accounts directly. That leaves you free to focus on quality delivery, clean architecture, and clear handoffs. You also work closely with our Technology Solutions Architect on custom code and complex integrations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Know the platform inside and out
Be the team's go-to expert on HubSpot architecture: objects, associations, properties, permissions and how data moves between Hubs
Match each client requirement to the right HubSpot capability, knowing what is native, what needs configuration and what truly needs custom work
Follow HubSpot's roadmap, betas and releases, and advise clients and our team on what to adopt and when
Retire old workarounds as new platform features make them unnecessary
Build and deliver
Deliver HubSpot implementations, onboarding, migrations and optimization projects from kickoff through handoff
Configure Marketing, Sales, Service, Content, Data and Revenue Hubs, including pipelines, properties, permissions and custom objects
Strategize and build workflows, lead scoring, lifecycle stages, lead routing, sequences and automation
Create custom reports and dashboards that give revenue leaders a clear view of performance
Plan and run data migrations, cleanup and governance so client data stays accurate
Integrations
Configure and troubleshoot native and marketplace integrations, including Salesforce.
Write clear technical specs for custom integrations and API work, and partner with our Technology Solutions Architect to deliver them
AI usage
Use AI tools and LLMs (large language models) daily to speed up builds, documentation, data cleanup and QA (quality assurance)
Advise clients on where AI fits their revenue process, from HubSpot's native AI (Breeze) to external LLM tools and agents
Build reusable prompts, AI workflows and agents the team can use across clients
Quality and handoff
Test your builds and support user acceptance testing (UAT) with client teams
Produce documentation, process maps and recorded walkthroughs
Train client users so they can run what you built
Work with the team
Give your project lead or account lead accurate estimates, status and early warning when work falls outside scope
Join discovery sessions to understand requirements and flag technical risks before the build starts
Share what you learn about the platform so the whole team gets better at HubSpot
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
3+ years of recent, hands-on HubSpot experience across all Hubs (Marketing, Sales, Service, Content, Data and Revenue) at both Professional and Enterprise tiers
HubSpot certifications across multiple Hubs
Deep knowledge of how HubSpot is structured, including what changes between Professional and Enterprise: object model, custom objects, associations, property architecture, permissions and data flow between Hubs
A proven ability to configure the platform around a client's process, reaching for native tools before custom code
A habit of tracking HubSpot's roadmap, betas and product updates, and clear opinions on where the platform is heading
A track record of delivering full implementations or migrations, not only maintaining existing portals
Experience designing revenue processes (lifecycle stages, handoffs, pipelines), not only building to someone else's design
Strong data skills: imports, deduplication, property architecture and reporting
Hands-on, daily use of AI tools and LLMs in your work, including prompts and workflows you built, with examples you can show us
Working knowledge of how integrations and data syncs behave, enough to spec them and troubleshoot them
Clear writing and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
The discipline to estimate your work, flag scope changes early, and manage several client builds at once
For senior candidates: 5+ years of HubSpot experience, multi-Hub Enterprise implementations you led as technical lead, and experience mentoring or reviewing others' work
Nice to have
Experience at a HubSpot partner agency or consultancy
Experience with Salesforce, Marketo or Pardot, especially migrating from them to HubSpot
Experience with HubSpot custom objects, data model design or Data Hub (formerly Operations Hub) tools
You might be a fit if
You’re endlessly curious. You chase down the “why,” learn fast, and love solving complex problems.
You show up. You bring energy and ideas that lift your team and your clients.
You build together. Collaboration isn’t a checkbox — it’s how you think, plan, and win.
You care deeply. You value people as much as projects and support others through the chaos.
You stay real. You’re honest about what you know (and don’t), ask for help, and bring your authentic self every day.
You own it. You follow through, respect deadlines, and hold yourself accountable — while keeping balance and humor along the way.
