Special Needs Caregiver / Direct Support Professional

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals to join the team in and around Cassville, PA. BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential.
Position Highlights:
Part-time roles with the possibility of additional hours and full-time availability
Flexible openings across day, evening, and weekend shifts
Part time position - around 10 hours per week TO START and build from there as client becomes comfortable
Competitive pay starting at $17+/hour, depending on experience
How You’ll Make an Impact as a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP):
Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, basic hygiene)
Accompany clients on errands and appointments
Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
Participate in community integration activities

Qualifications for Our Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals (DSP)
One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities/special needs
High school diploma or equivalent
18 years of age or older
