In this role, you will serve as a key quality resource supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring products meet design specifications and quality standards throughout the production process. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $21 - $25 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What You'll Do
Perform incoming, in-process, first-piece, and final inspections to verify products meet engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Document inspection results and manage quality-related transactions, product disposition activities, and inventory holds within SAP.
Maintain calibration programs for measurement equipment and coordinate calibration and repair activities with service providers.
Investigate nonconforming materials, work with suppliers on returns and corrective actions, and support resolution of quality issues.
Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, and Quality teams to minimize production disruptions and improve product quality.
Support PPAP activities, AGV pre-shipment inspections, internal audits, and ISO 9001 compliance requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, problem-solving, and support of quality improvement projects.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, or similar role within a manufacturing, industrial, automation, or distribution environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
Experience using precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and related inspection equipment.
Working knowledge of SAP and quality management processes preferred.
Understanding of AIAG quality tools, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement principles.
Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
