Role Description The Assistant Manager role at AUTO DIE COMPANY is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The Assistant Manager oversees day-to-day operations within their designated department, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are met. Responsibilities include coordinating workflows, supporting supervisors and team members, monitoring performance metrics, and helping resolve operational issues. The role involves preparing reports, assisting in resource planning, and collaborating with senior management on process improvements. The Assistant Manager also supports communication between management and staff, helps implement company policies, and contributes to training and development initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong operational and organizational skills, with experience in supervising or coordinating teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Ability to analyze production data, identify issues, and implement practical process improvements.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Basic understanding of quality control, safety standards, and compliance requirements in a factory setting.
Proficiency in using office productivity tools (such as spreadsheets and word processing software) for reporting and documentation.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in automotive or engineering components manufacturing in Coimbatore or similar industrial hubs is an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to work on-site, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing operational priorities.
