About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

Mandatory experience: Minimum five years of direct Medical Information experience within a pharmaceutical company.
Core responsibilities: Responding to inquiries from healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients, and other Medical Information channels; drafting and customizing responses and letters; reviewing escalations from call centers.
Medical Information vs. Medical Affairs: Medical Affairs or MSL experience alone is insufficient. Candidates must have hands-on Medical Information query-response experience.
Compliance and writing: Strong U.S. regulatory knowledge, scientific accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent written communication skills are essential.
Call center collaboration: Experience handling escalations, reviewing responses, and working with call center agents is preferred.
Technology: Salesforce is the current platform, expected to transition to a new platform around Q2 2027. The team is adopting AvoMed Pro, an AI-enabled content and response-generation tool. Training will be provided; prior AvoMed Pro experience is not mandatory. MedDRA experience is a plus.
Therapeutic experience: Hematology, myeloma, and CAR-T experience are preferred but not mandatory.
Role structure: Senior individual contributor position with no direct reports. Operational response generation and escalation management take priority over strategic work or people management.
Initial workload: The first five to six months will primarily focus on response generation, letter customization, and call center support. Approximately 7% of inquiries are currently escalated, but launch-related volumes remain uncertain.
Overall priority: Identify candidates with strong hands-on Medical Information experience who can quickly support inquiry responses, content development, and call center escalations ahead of the upcoming U.S. myeloma CAR-T launch.
