UX Researcher

Position Title: UX Researcher
Key Responsibilities
Partner cross-functionally with product owners, product managers, UX/UI and content designers, and other stakeholders to define research goals and initiatives
Scope, plan, and execute user research and usability testing projects end-to-end
Recommend and advocate for the most appropriate research methodologies based on business and design questions
Determine and justify appropriate sample sizes for each research method
Independently configure, program, and QA research studies using industry-standard tools
Analyze qualitative and quantitative findings, synthesize insights, and communicate clear, actionable recommendations to stakeholders and the broader organization
Must have technical skills/experience:
A great understanding of UX research modalities and methods (generalist)
At least 4-5 years of experience in remote, in-person, moderated, and unmoderated user research; including but not limited to usability testing, interviews, surveys, click test, card sorts, tree testing, etc.
Experience with testing platforms: Maze is mandatory
Flex Skills: Overall 4-5yrs of experience
Glass Box and/or Qualtrics (additional optional)
At least 3-4 years of experience working in finance, insurance, or healthcare (regulated industries)
Experience with AI Research
Great active listening skills
Strong storytelling skills
Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects end-to-end
Collaboration with teammates and partners
Being open to feedback
Education
Bachelor’s degree required
