Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a 3Shape Designer at Chompers Dental Design. The 3Shape Designer will use 3Shape dental design software to create crowns, bridges, veneers, implants, and other restorations according to provided prescriptions and digital scans. Daily tasks include reviewing case files, analyzing intraoral scans and models, designing restorations with attention to occlusion and anatomy, and preparing files for production. The role involves collaborating with dentists, lab technicians, and production teams to clarify case requirements, adjust designs based on feedback, and ensure timely delivery. The designer will also maintain design quality standards, follow lab protocols, document work, and stay updated on best practices in digital dental design.
Qualifications
Proficiency with 3Shape dental CAD software and experience designing crowns, bridges, veneers, and implant restorations.
Strong understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, restorative principles, and basic lab processes.
Attention to detail, ability to interpret prescriptions and digital scans, and commitment to consistent design quality.
Effective remote work skills, including time management, organization, and self-directed problem-solving.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with dentists and lab staff.
Comfort with digital tools, file management, and CAD/CAM workflows in a dental laboratory setting.
Relevant experience in a dental lab or digital dentistry environment; formal dental technology training is an advantage.
Reliable internet connection and suitable home workstation for full-time remote design work.
