Generative AI Engineer

CallSphere builds AI voice and chat agents that help businesses answer calls, manage appointment requests, support customers, and automate everyday workflows.
We’re looking for an AI Engineer who enjoys building practical AI products and taking features from idea to production.
What you’ll do
Build and improve AI voice and chat agents.
Develop LLM workflows, tool calling, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
Integrate agents with CRMs, scheduling platforms, and business APIs.
Build backend services using Python, FastAPI, and TypeScript.
Improve response quality, latency, reliability, and cost.
Debug production issues and deliver features based on customer feedback.
What we’re looking for
Strong Python skills and experience building REST APIs.
Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, agent frameworks, and prompt engineering.
Familiarity with databases, Git, Docker, and cloud deployment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ownership of your work.
Ability to communicate clearly and work in a fast-moving startup.
Bonus skills
Experience with real-time voice, telephony, WebSockets, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, AWS, or AI evaluation and observability.
