Develop and manage case strategies.
Handle humanitarian and family-based matters, including VAWA, U Visas, adjustment of status, waivers, and consular processing.

Prepare clients for USCIS interviews.
Represent clients before USCIS and Immigration Court, depending on your experience.
Review casework prepared by paralegals and work collaboratively with the legal team.
Keep clients informed about their cases and next steps.
Manage deadlines and maintain accurate case records.
You do not need to have experience in every immigration case type listed above. We are looking for an attorney with a solid immigration law foundation, good judgment, strong client skills, and a willingness to continue learning and developing.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage cases and deadlines effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Compassionate and professional approach to working with clients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to providing high-quality, ethical, and client-centered representation.
Experience with VAWA, U Visas, waivers, adjustment of status, consular processing, RFEs, or removal defense is preferred, but experience in every area is not required.
Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
COMPENSATION & EMPLOYEE BENEFITS
Salary Range: $90,000–$130,000 or more per annum, commensurate with experience, qualifications and added value to the firm.
Following successful completion of a three-month probationary period, eligible employees receive:
Retirement savings plan with employer match
Medical insurance with company-subsidized premiums
Paid time off that increases with length of employment
Five days of paid sick leave
Paid federal holidays
Annual end-of-year office closure

WHY JOIN JJ MOORE & ASSOCIATES?
At JJ Moore & Associates, you will have the opportunity to do meaningful immigration work while being part of a supportive and collaborative team.
We want our attorneys to take ownership of their cases, but we don't expect them to work in isolation. You'll work alongside experienced attorneys, paralegals, and support staff and have opportunities to continue developing your immigration knowledge and advocacy skills.
If you have a solid immigration law background, care about your clients, and are looking for a firm where you can contribute, learn, and grow, we would like to hear from you.
