We are looking for an Accounting Technician to join our team — someone who plays a key role in delivering awesome support to both internal and external customers. This role goes beyond numbers; you’ll bring together your clerical, administrative, and accounting skills to keep operations running smoothly, while handling tracking and reporting with accuracy, positivity, and a true FFUN attitude.
What you’ll be doing:
Processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoices· Issuing cheques to vendors and handling lien payouts
Posting daily deposits· Performing general accounting tasks, including posting general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end activities
Posting deals
Posting company Visa transactions, monitoring credit limits to maintain a healthy balance, and performing weekly reconciliations
Monthly reconciliation of vendor statements and execution of the monthly accounts payable cheque run.
What we're looking for:
Some prior experience in accounting or administrative roles
Exceptional attention to detail—accuracy is essential in this role
A strong sense of urgency and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
Excellent time management skills to balance multiple priorities effectively
Highly organized with the ability to maintain accurate records and streamline processes
Proficient in Google Sheets, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Strong initiative and accountability to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and on time
Additional Requirements:
Proactive, energetic, and motivated to work both independently and as part of a team
A positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
