Business Development Associate

The Business Development Associate will seek new business opportunities and contact potential customers to develop relationships. This position initiates exploratory calls with prospects to offer Hatzel & Buehler’s services. Through a combination of networking, market research, and outreach, the Business Development Representative will generate leads and increase the sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualify leads generated from marketing campaigns as potential sales opportunities.
Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calls and emails to generate interest and secure meetings.
Nurture and develop relationships with existing leads to facilitate the closing of sales.
Manage the client database to ensure accurate and timely information is available to the sales team.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within a specified geographical area.
Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and competitive positioning.
Collaborate with key partners to explore and capitalize on business development opportunities.
Assist in determining pricing strategies based on market analysis and client feedback.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record in sales or business development, preferably in [industry/niche].
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Experience in cold calling, prospecting, and lead qualification.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
Work Environment:
This job mainly operates in an office setting using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
