Public Health Nurse (LPN or RN) - CMHD Lewistown

One Health's Central Montana Health District (CMHD) is seeking a compassionate, motivated LPN or RN to join our public health team!
Location: Lewistown, MT | Serving Five Counties
Schedule: Full-time | Flexible Hours | Regional Travel
Salary: LPN: $24.43-$25.13/hr DOE
RN: $34.55-$36.07/hr DOE

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do:
Provide immunizations in the office, schools, and community clinics throughout our five-county region.
Support communicable disease prevention through investigations, case follow-up, surveillance, and education.
Promote maternal and child health through family education, outreach, and preventive health initiatives.
Assist with childhood lead testing and lead poisoning prevention education.
Participate in community outreach through health fairs, educational events, and partnerships.
Support emergency preparedness through planning, training, and response activities.
Manage assigned responsibilities independently with guidance and support from public health leadership.
**Duties are assigned according to licensure, training, and scope of practice.**

Required:
Registered Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program
Current LPN or RN license
Valid driver’s license
Certifications (Upon hire)
BLS Certification
National Incident Management System/Incident Command System (NIMS/ICS) 100, 200, and 700a certification within four (4) months of employment
Preferred:
BSN
2 years of public health nursing experience
