The Plot Thickens: Job Description (PR focused)
Client Management and Communication
Serve as the daily point of contact for clients, handling PR-related requests and maintaining strong client relationships.
Conduct regular client meeting, actively monitor industry-related dynamics, and prepare detailed monthly media reports for clients’ review.
PR Content Development
Draft and edit PR content, including press releases, byline articles, Q&A, newsletters, spokesperson briefing materials, ensuring alignment with brand key messages and release requirements.
Translate complex business, technology, and industry information into clear, compelling, and media-friendly narratives.
Collaborate with client stakeholders to adapt global content for the China market while maintaining consistency with overall brand positioning.
Media Relationship Maintenance
Take ownership of media management, including daily media relationship maintenance, media event coordination, press release arrangement, media visits and media outreach and pitching.
Identify relevant media opportunities based on client priorities, industry trends, and editorial calendars.
Campaign Planning and Execution
Work closely with the team on content tasks for key clients’ campaigns, including influencer outreach and campaign execution.
Assist in the planning and presentation of proposals for new business pitches and upsell campaigns.
Contribute to industry research, creative ideation, and marketing strategy development.

A strong interest in and knowledge of tech industries such as semiconductors, AI, and go-global sectors.
Proficient in using AI tools in day-to-day work, with the ability to leverage AI effectively for research, content development, information analysis, and ideation while maintaining accuracy, quality, and professional judgment.
Excellent Chinese writing skills, with the ability to develop clear, compelling, and client-ready PR content.
Proficient in English reading, writing, and daily business communication, enabling seamless collaboration on international projects.
Passionate about technology and storytelling, with a strong interest in public relations and communications.
Proactive, organized, and eager to learn in a collaborative team.
Able to balance creativity with analytical tasks and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Able to understand client needs and respond quickly and effectively.
