Job Summary:
An Automotive Express Technician performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs in a timely manner.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Must read, interpret, and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Perform Multi Point Inspections.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Understanding of automotive systems.
Ability to use the diagnostic equipment and tools including power tools.
Willingness to learn with hands-on training.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
Ability to provide friendly customer service.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
State Inspection license required.
Technician experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Prolonged periods of standing.
Frequent reaching, bending, squatting, pulling and lifting.
