Context Global seeks motivated Certified Deaf Interpreters to work as flex-time freelance interpreters.
Responsibilities
ASL Interpreting:
Provide effective communication facilitation between multiple parties, working with hearing interpreter teams
Be able to match the variety of linguistic needs present in the greater ASL community
Understand cultural and linguistic differences between communities and respond accordingly
Expectations
Submit time sheets, invoices, and paperwork on time and as required
Superior interpersonal skills
Adhere to the RID Code of Professional Conduct
Requirements
Culturally and Linguistically Deaf
Fluency in American Sign Language and written English
RID Certified Deaf Interpreter or comparable experience
Self-motivated and well organized
