A Bachelor’s degree in marine biology, ecology, fishery sciences, or a related field with at least two years of relevant work experience.
Experience working with relational databases
Demonstrated ability to analyse and summarise data using R
Sharp attention to detail, with the ability to analyse and compare data across multiple sources
Strong interpersonal skills
Flexibility to work independently and collaboratively, meeting deadlines amid competing priorities
A genuine passion for Antarctic marine science, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive, equitable workplace
Desirable:
Master’s degree in marine biology, ecology, fishery sciences, or a related field
Experience taking minutes and summarising discussions
Experience with software such as R, SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft Access in working with relational databases
Basic version control experience using Git.
Why Choose CCAMLR?
