Who We are Looking For
Registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
ADP Authorization is required.
Experience working with adult populations in a community-based setting
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills
A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for home visits within York Region
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
A Day-to-Day Look at the Role:
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments in clients’ homes
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence and functionality
Recommend adaptive equipment, home modifications, and rehabilitation strategies
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver client-centered care
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with professional and regulatory standards
Uphold ethical and professional standards as defined by COTO
