Casual Operator/Labourer
The Town of Bishop’s Falls is currently accepting applications for casual Operators/Labourers who primarily work in the Public Works Department and are responsible for the following:
Operating heavy equipment to implement public works services and programs.
Maintaining the Town’s infrastructure.
Casual Operators/Labourers may voluntarily join the Recreation Department's casual call-in list where they will be responsible for the following:
Working in the Pat O’Reilly Memorial Stadium.
Maintaining recreation facilities.
Assisting with recreation programs and events.

To qualify for this job, you need the following:
Class 3 (Tandem)
Class 5 (Standard Driver’s Licence)
Class 8 (Traction)
Class 9 (Air Brakes)
Experience in operating heavy equipment
Clean Driver’s Abstract (Recent)
Wages, benefits, and other employment terms outlined in the Collective Agreement between the Town and CUPE Local 1349 apply.
