Role Description The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations at the Chennai location, ensuring a smooth and customer-focused retail experience in an on-site, full-time role. This includes managing sales performance, supervising store staff, scheduling shifts, and maintaining visual merchandising and product displays according to brand standards. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, coordinating stock replenishment, and implementing retail loss prevention measures. The Store Manager will handle customer inquiries and escalations, drive customer satisfaction, and support promotional activities and events within the store. The position also requires maintaining store cleanliness, ensuring compliance with company policies, and preparing regular reports on sales, footfall, and operational performance.
Qualifications
Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service.
Effective Communication abilities for interacting with customers, team members, and management.
Proven Store Management experience in a retail environment, preferably in jewellery or luxury goods.
Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices and ability to implement security and control measures.
Leadership and team supervision skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and develop staff.
Basic proficiency with POS systems, inventory management tools, and MS Office applications.
Ability to work on-site full time in Chennai, with flexibility for weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.
Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
