As the organization continues to grow, Finance plays a critical role in establishing strong governance, financial discipline, scalable processes and insightful management reporting that supports the long-term success of the GCC.
Role Overview
Reporting to the CFO - India, the Financial Controller will lead accounting, financial reporting, controls, finance operations, treasury oversight and GCC performance management. This role will be responsible for building scalable finance capabilities, strengthening governance and providing leadership with insights into financial performance, operational outcomes and value realization across the GCC.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Controllership
Lead accounting, month-end close and financial reporting activities.
Ensure accuracy, integrity and completeness of financial information.
Support global reporting and consolidation requirements.
Oversee reconciliations, journal entries and statutory reporting.
Governance, Controls & Audit
Establish and maintain finance policies, controls and governance processes.
Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits and compliance reviews.
Drive remediation of audit observations and control improvements.
Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
Business Partnership & Performance Management
Support budgeting, forecasting and management reporting activities.
Lead GCC performance reporting, including tracking of business plans, efficiency goals and value realization initiatives.
Consolidate financial and operational information into meaningful management insights.
Develop executive reporting for local and global leadership teams.
Treasury, Operations & Transformation
Oversee treasury, funding, banking and cash management processes.
Support intercompany accounting and recharge mechanisms.
Drive process automation, simplification and continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with external advisors supporting accounting, treasury and audit activities.
Leadership
Build and develop a high-performing finance team.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Support succession planning and future capability development.
Qualifications & Experience
CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
12+ years of experience across controllership, reporting and finance operations.
Strong understanding of accounting, controls and financial reporting.
Experience within multinational organizations preferred.
Experience within insurance, reinsurance, financial services, asset management or other regulated industries preferred.
Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
