Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Back End Developer role based in Pakistan. The Back End Developer will design, implement, and maintain server-side logic, APIs, databases, and integrations that power web and mobile applications for a variety of client projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, optimizing application performance and security, and collaborating closely with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver cohesive solutions. The role also involves participating in technical architecture discussions, code reviews, and testing, as well as troubleshooting and resolving production issues. The Back End Developer will contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and support ongoing enhancements to existing platforms and systems.
Qualifications
Strong Back-End Web Development skills, including experience with server-side frameworks, RESTful APIs, and database design.
Solid Software Development and Programming skills, with proficiency in at least one modern backend language or runtime (e.g., Node.js, PHP, or similar).
Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns to create maintainable, scalable code.
Ability to collaborate effectively with Front-End Development teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, version control systems (e.g., Git), and basic DevOps practices for deployment and monitoring.
Familiarity with security best practices, performance optimization, and debugging tools in a production environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced product development environment.
