This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Junior Backend Developer based in Brazil.
We are looking for a motivated Junior Backend Developer to contribute to the design, development, and optimization of software features that support innovative technology solutions. In this role, you will work primarily with C# and .NET, helping build reliable backend services and improve application functionality. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, analyze requirements, and translate them into effective technical solutions. Your responsibilities will also involve working with databases, APIs, version control, and software quality practices. As part of a collaborative and growth-oriented engineering environment, you will have opportunities to strengthen your programming skills, learn from experienced colleagues, and contribute to products that serve the fitness industry. Accountabilities
Participate in project planning and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of new software features.
Apply programming logic and backend development principles to build and maintain reliable software solutions.
Develop backend functionalities using C# and related technologies within the .NET ecosystem.
Analyze requirements with internal clients and stakeholders to understand business needs and define appropriate technical solutions.
Collect, organize, analyze, and monitor information required to support software development and business processes.
Understand user and client needs and recommend relevant technical approaches, data views, and analyses.
Develop and maintain APIs and backend services, including WebAPI-based solutions.
Work with SQL databases to support data access, organization, and processing.
Use Git and version control practices to manage code changes and collaborate with other developers.
Contribute to software quality by following development standards, identifying issues, and supporting debugging and optimization activities.
Collaborate with team members to improve existing functionality and deliver solutions aligned with business requirements.
Requirements
Approximately 6 months to 1 year of experience in backend development or related technical activities.
Foundational experience with backend technologies, .NET, C#, SQL, programming logic, Angular, WebAPI, and Git.
Understanding of software development principles and the ability to contribute to application development and maintenance.
Familiarity with databases, APIs, version control, and software quality practices.
Ability to analyze requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into practical technical solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with internal stakeholders and development teams.
A completed bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field.
Fluency in English or Spanish is considered an advantage.
