Role Description The Equity Research Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth fundamental and financial analysis of listed companies, sectors, and markets to support investment decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining detailed financial models, preparing valuation analyses, tracking company performance, and monitoring relevant news and corporate actions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring regular collaboration with team members to refine and implement equity investment ideas.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and a proven ability to interpret complex financial and business information.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Financial Modeling, including building and maintaining detailed models for valuation and scenario analysis.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Finance and Investments, including equity markets, valuation techniques, and portfolio concepts.
Candidates should possess strong Research capabilities, including gathering, validating, and synthesizing data from multiple sources.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA or progress toward it) are an advantage.
High proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial databases and market data tools; strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work accurately under time constraints, collaborate in a team-oriented environment, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
