Role Description The Senior Financial Specialist is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing key financial activities that support the company’s operational and strategic goals. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing financial reports, forecasting cash flow, and supporting budgeting and financial planning processes. This role will analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and will provide clear recommendations to leadership on cost management, revenue optimization, and investment decisions. The Senior Financial Specialist will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial documentation, maintain compliance with relevant standards, and improve reporting efficiency through process enhancements.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Finance and Financial Planning, with experience in budgeting and forecasting.
Advanced Analytical Skills and Financial Reporting expertise, including interpreting data and presenting insights.
Effective Communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
Experience with accounting software and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) and comfort working remotely.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is beneficial.
Proven track record in a senior or specialist finance role, preferably within a small or mid-sized business environment.
Strong attention to detail, integrity in handling sensitive financial information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
