About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Ecommerce Manager, Emerging Brands based in India.
Take ownership of ecommerce performance and conversion rate optimization (CRO) across a growing portfolio of emerging direct-to-consumer brands. You will lead the development and optimization of landing pages, using AI-powered workflows to accelerate experimentation and deliver measurable results. Working closely with marketing, growth, design, and engineering teams, you will turn customer insights and performance data into actionable improvements. You will build a testing strategy adapted to brands with lower traffic volumes, prioritizing smart experiments and reliable learnings. This role offers the opportunity to establish scalable CRO processes that support sustainable growth across multiple brands. Join a fully remote, collaborative environment that values ownership, speed, innovation, and meaningful impact.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will drive conversion optimization and establish repeatable experimentation processes across multiple emerging ecommerce brands. Your responsibilities will include:
Build and manage a CRO testing program tailored to lower-traffic brands, prioritizing high-impact experiments, thoughtful sequencing, and reliable analysis of smaller data samples.
Create new landing pages and optimize existing ones from initial brief to launch, leveraging AI-assisted workflows to accelerate ideation, design, copywriting, and implementation.
Monitor daily performance across brands and collaborate with paid marketing and growth teams to identify conversion opportunities and determine where to scale.
Analyze user behavior through heatmaps, scroll maps, session recordings, sales data, customer reviews, support interactions, and post-purchase surveys to identify friction points and develop test hypotheses.
Research customer needs and behaviors to understand differences between audiences across brands and identify the improvements most likely to influence purchasing decisions.
Develop and maintain a clear testing roadmap for each brand in partnership with marketing and growth leads.
Establish scalable CRO processes covering performance monitoring, landing page production, quality assurance, experiment documentation, and post-test analysis.
Coordinate with designers, developers, and marketing stakeholders to maintain alignment, remove bottlenecks, and keep experimentation projects moving efficiently.
Apply AI tools and automation to streamline workflows, improve execution speed, and continuously enhance the testing process.
Requirements
The ideal candidate combines hands-on ecommerce and CRO expertise with strong analytical judgment, a bias toward action, and the ability to manage experimentation across multiple brands. The following qualifications are expected:
5–7 years of experience in conversion rate optimization or ecommerce at a direct-to-consumer (DTC) company.
Experience working in an early-stage or multi-brand DTC business, or conducting experiments with limited website traffic, is a strong advantage.
Proficiency with Claude Code, Claude Design, or comparable AI-assisted workflows for creating landing pages end to end, from ideation and design through copywriting and implementation.
Extensive experience with Shopify and/or other ecommerce, order management, and sales platforms.
Experience managing a broad ecosystem of third-party applications that support ecommerce operations and enhance the customer purchasing journey.
Familiarity with post-purchase and lifecycle management tools, including collaborating with growth teams to improve customer experiences.
Strong hands-on experience with analytics platforms such as GA4, Heap, or Adobe Analytics.
Deep experience with experimentation and testing platforms such as Intelligems, FigPii, Amplitude, Kameleoon, or Statsig.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret behavioral data, evaluate test results, and make informed decisions despite incomplete information.
Excellent cross-functional communication skills, including the ability to coordinate with marketing, design, and engineering teams and communicate priorities proactively.
A structured, process-oriented approach to briefing, quality assurance, documenting experiments, and sharing learnings.
A user-focused mindset, with a strong curiosity about customer needs, purchasing behavior, and opportunities to reduce friction.
The ability to prioritize decisively, move quickly, manage several brands simultaneously, and distinguish meaningful results from inconclusive findings.
A growth-oriented attitude, openness to feedback, and enthusiasm for building new AI-powered workflows and continuously improving how work gets done.
