Associate Software Enginer

Role Description As an Associate Software Engineer at Arab Takt-ing Management, you will support the development of software tools that enhance construction project planning, resource efficiency, and performance monitoring. This part-time remote role involves collaborating with senior engineers to design, implement, and maintain back-end systems, APIs, and data processing components that align with Takt and Lean methodologies. You will write clean, testable code, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot technical issues to improve reliability and scalability of internal platforms. The role also includes documenting technical solutions, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and working closely with cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into software features.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
Hands-on experience or coursework in Software Development and Programming, preferably with one or more modern languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript).
Understanding of Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their application in designing maintainable code.
Relevant skills such as version control (e.g., Git), basic testing practices, and debugging techniques.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time workload effectively, and communicate clearly with distributed teams.
Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Interest in or exposure to construction, project management, or operations optimization is a plus.
