🕘 **Working Hours:** 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
📅 **Working Days:** Monday to Friday (5 Days a Week)
**Role Overview:**
We are looking for an Application Technologist with hands-on experience in bakery, bars, and confectionery product development. This is a **lab-based role** focused on formulation trials, product development, sample preparation, and technical evaluation, with minimal customer travel.
**Key Responsibilities:**
🔹 Execute laboratory and pilot-scale formulation trials for bakery, bars, and confectionery products.
🔹 Develop prototypes such as cakes, cookies, biscuits, breads, tortillas, crackers, nutrition bars, and confectionery products.
🔹 Evaluate ingredient functionality and optimize formulations for texture, taste, processing, and shelf life.
🔹 Conduct analytical and sensory evaluations and prepare technical reports.
🔹 Coordinate raw materials, sample preparation, and product development projects.
🔹 Follow laboratory GMP, food safety, and workplace safety standards.
**Required Skills:**
✅ Bakery and confectionery product development
✅ Food ingredient functionality – enzymes, emulsifiers, hydrocolloids, proteins, and starches
✅ Formulation trials and laboratory evaluations
✅ Sensory evaluation and technical reporting
**Eligibility Criteria:**
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Engineering, Bakery Science, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in bakery, food ingredients, or application development.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
