About your service: Enjoy the variety and flexibility of working in our fantastic service at Bowral! You’ll have the opportunity to support services across Bowral and Tahmoor making a real impact while broadening your OOSH leadership experience.
Hourly Rate: $37.58 - $47.68 (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.
Before School Care: 6:45 AM- 8:45 AM.
After School Care: 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
Days Required: Monday to Friday. 3-5 shifts fortnightly.
Vacation Care: Up to 30 hours per week. (only include if vac is offered at school).
Contract: Casual.
Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.
Your Impact: Key Responsibilities
As our OOSH Relief Service Assistant you will:
Create Awesome Experiences: Assist in delivering science experiments, sports tournaments, fun educational activities and creative arts that kids actually want to do!
Safety First, Fun Always: Lead a safe, inclusive environment while every child feels like a rockstar.
Chef it up: Whip up healthy, tasty snacks that keep the energy levels high.
The Community Connector: Ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building successful, integrated OSHC programs.
What You Bring to the Mix
The Qualification: You’ve got (or are studying toward) a Certificate III in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved! (Desirable but not required).
The Vibe: You’re warm, engaging, and have a "can-do" attitude.
The Essentials: A valid Working With Children Check, Child Protection Training Certificate, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management (willingness to obtain).
