Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Engineer role based in Indore. The Production Engineer is responsible for monitoring daily production activities on the shop floor, ensuring that output meets quality standards and delivery schedules. Typical tasks include planning and organizing production runs, optimizing process parameters, coordinating with maintenance and quality teams, and troubleshooting issues that affect productivity or product quality. The role also involves documenting process changes, supporting implementation of lean and continuous improvement initiatives, and communicating clearly with supervisors, operators, and cross-functional colleagues to maintain smooth operations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Production Engineering knowledge and hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and equipment.
Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret production data, identify root causes of issues, and recommend process improvements.
Candidates should possess Production Planning capabilities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to monitor product standards, support inspections, and ensure compliance with specifications.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with teams, preparing reports, and conveying technical information clearly.
Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related field are preferred.
Practical experience in a metal forming or manufacturing environment, familiarity with safety practices, and knowledge of lean or continuous improvement methods are beneficial.
