Role: Purchase or Sourcing
Responsibilities
Identify and develop new suppliers for electrical, mechanical and wiring harness components.
Source raw materials, components and production-related materials as per requirements.
Prepare and follow up on RFQs, quotations, purchase orders and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with suppliers for price, quality and timely delivery.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery timelines.
Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality and SCM teams for material requirements.
Track pending orders and ensure timely material availability.
Maintain supplier and purchase records.
Support vendor evaluation and development.
Ensure procurement is aligned with company quality and customer requirements, particularly for aerospace and defence projects.
2. Stores Executive / Stores Assistant
Qualification:
Experienced: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or related field, with relevant manufacturing experience.
Fresher: ITI / Diploma candidates can be considered.
Experience in wiring harness, electrical, mechanical, aerospace or defence manufacturing will be preferred.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and inventory/ERP systems.
Good documentation and material-handling skills.
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect and store incoming materials as per company procedures.
Maintain proper records of inward and outward materials.
Issue materials to Production and other departments as per approved requirements.
Maintain stock levels and support inventory control.
Conduct regular physical stock verification.
Ensure proper identification, labelling and storage of materials.
Coordinate with Purchase, Production and Quality teams regarding material availability.
Monitor material shortages, excess stock and slow-moving items.
Maintain proper documentation for traceability of materials.
Follow safety, housekeeping and material-handling procedures.
Ensure proper handling and storage of components used for aerospace and defence manufacturing.
Qualifications
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or related engineering field.
1–2 years of experience in purchase/procurement/sourcing in wiring harness, electrical, mechanical, aerospace, defence, or similar manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of vendor development, material procurement and purchase processes.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
