Role Description The Research and Development Intern will support the design, testing, and improvement of NUVALYF’s healthcare technology solutions in a full-time, remote capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting research on healthcare workflows and digital health trends, analyzing user and clinical requirements, and assisting with the development and validation of product features. The intern will help plan and execute experiments or tests, document findings, and collaborate with product, engineering, and clinical stakeholders to translate insights into actionable enhancements. This role also involves preparing clear reports, contributing to presentations, and participating in team discussions to ensure R&D activities align with NUVALYF’s goals for connected, efficient care.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Research and Development (R&D) and Research skills to support healthcare technology projects and product innovation.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate experiments, and draw evidence-based conclusions.
Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present research findings effectively.
Candidates should possess foundational Laboratory Skills or practical experimentation skills for designing and executing tests where applicable.
Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with healthcare systems or EMR platforms, basic understanding of data management, proficiency with productivity and documentation tools, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Enrollment in or completion of a degree in a relevant field such as Biomedical Engineering, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related discipline is preferred.
