Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune, Sanaswadi, Pune - Ahmednagar Road for a General Manager (GM) Finance and Accounts. The role involves overseeing the entire finance and accounting function, including strong working capital management, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, inventory conrol ,stock analysis,purchase price and commercial terms and financial planning. The GM will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, statutory compliance, tax planning, and coordination with auditors and regulatory authorities. Daily responsibilities include supervising accounts payable and receivable, ledger maintenance, cost control, and financial analysis to support business decisions. The position also involves developing internal controls, improving systems and processes, partnering with operations and senior leadership on strategic initiatives, and leading, coaching, and evaluating the finance and accounts team. Must have hands on experience in business process automation and implement ERP with accuracy and reliability
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and cost control.
Candidates should possess expertise in accounting operations such as general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial closing.
Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation and regulatory compliance, including direct and indirect taxes, statutory filings, and coordination with auditors.
Candidates should possess analytical and strategic skills, including financial analysis, variance analysis, risk assessment, and decision support for leadership.
Candidates should possess leadership and communication skills, including team management, cross-functional collaboration, and presentation of financial insights to stakeholders.
Professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent advanced degree are highly beneficial. An experience of twenty years of which five years should have been in senior position.
Must have worked in Manufacturing companies of around Rs.200 Cr revenue
Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors, particularly with ERP or finance systems,is a must.
Ability to work on-site in Pune Division, maintain high ethical standards, and handle complex financial matters with confidentiality and accuracy is essential.
Must be well versed in export documentation , forex , banking,,govt schemes, compliances etc
