Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior EIAM Developer to support Client’s Enterprise Identity and Access Management platform. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting authentication, authorization, federation, and Single Sign-On solutions using the Ping Identity suite.
The role will drive application onboarding, custom authentication journeys, federation integrations, API security enablement, and modernization initiatives while supporting a large-scale global workforce identity ecosystem. The platform currently supports approximately 104 integrated applications and 60,000 workforce identities. ________________________________________
Key Responsibilities
Solution Development & Engineering
• Design and develop enterprise authentication and authorization solutions using Ping Identity products.
• Develop custom authentication journeys and access management workflows.
• Implement advanced MFA and adaptive authentication use cases.
• Configure authorization policies and access control mechanisms.
• Develop reusable components and integration frameworks.
• Perform code reviews and enforce development standards.

SSO & Federation Development
• Design and implement Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations.
• Configure federation services across enterprise applications.
• Develop integrations using:
o SAML 2.0
o OAuth 2.0
o OpenID Connect (OIDC)
o WS-Federation
• Configure identity provider (IdP) and service provider (SP) integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex federation issues.

Application Onboarding
• Lead onboarding of business applications into the EIAM platform.
• Define authentication and authorization integration patterns.
• Work with application owners to gather requirements.
• Design secure access and authentication architectures.
• Support testing, deployment, and production readiness activities.

API & Modern Authentication Integration
• Secure APIs using OAuth and OpenID Connect.
• Design API authentication and token management solutions.
• Implement JWT token validation and policy enforcement.
• Support integration with cloud and SaaS applications.
• Enable Zero Trust-aligned authentication controls.

Operations & Technical Leadership
• Provide L3 engineering support for critical incidents.
• Lead RCA activities for major authentication outages.
• Mentor junior developers and support engineers.
• Participate in platform upgrades and migration activities.
• Support production releases and change management reviews.

• Ensure compliance with Client IAM security standards.
• Support security reviews and risk assessments.
• Review authentication and authorization controls.
• Support audit evidence collection and remediation activities.
• Implement secure coding and DevSecOps practices.
7-12 Years Overall IT Experience 5+ Years in IAM / Access Management 3+ Years Hands-on Ping Identity Development Experience
