Job Summary
As an applications engineer, you will be responsible for switching power supply systems development and design engineering.
Specific Responsibilities
Researches and defines switching mode power supply topologies based on the specialties of the company's products
Helps develop algorithms to automatically optimize power supplies using PI’s products and assist in developing the PI Expert Software Suite
Assists in new product development and research new applications for both new and older generations of Power Integrations’ IC products
Designs and develops switching power supply units (psu) using the company's products for design documentation/training material or customer requirements
Evaluates switching power supplies built with the company’s products
Provides switching power supply design support and technical advice to the company's customers worldwide
Researches and write technical application materials for publication and presentation at technical conferences, industry seminars, trade magazines and data books
