Senior Project Manager/ Delivery coordinator (German speaking)

We are seeking a senior, delivery-focused Project Manager to lead complex initiatives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. The successful candidate will be fluent in German and English, confident with senior stakeholders and focused on achieving outcomes.This is a hands-on role with end-to-end accountability for delivery across multiple teams, competing priorities and external partners. The role will lead the rollout of an insurance-related product across Germany and Switzerland.
Key responsibilities:
Lead delivery from mobilisation through implementation and handover.
Build and maintain delivery plans covering milestones, dependencies, resources, risks and controls.
Coordinate multidisciplinary internal and external teams, meetings and communications.
Manage scope, risks, issues and interdependencies, escalating early and constructively.
Influence senior leaders and partners, resolve conflict and challenge unrealistic expectations.
Drive accountability across teams and suppliers, ensuring commitments are met.
Track progress and provide clear, evidence-based forecasts, status reports and metrics.
Maintain accurate, current project documentation and support continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Fluent in German and able to work effectively with UK and international stakeholders.
Proven experience delivering complex software and integration projects, ideally in insurance or another large enterprise.
Strong understanding of delivery methodologies, software development lifecycles and technical integration.
Experienced in leading multidisciplinary teams, including developers, technical leads, architects, product owners and product managers.
Confident working with executives, external partners and suppliers.
Highly proficient in Jira and Confluence.
Pragmatic, organised and assertive, with strong communication, leadership and conflict-resolution skills.
PMP, PRINCE2 or a similar project management qualification is desirable.
