Global Master Data Expert in Financial domain (F/M)

Master Data is information that is a key to business operations. It is a single source of basic business data used across multiple systems, processes and functions. This key business information includes the data about customers, materials, suppliers, finance.
In this role as the Global Master Data Expert Center of Excellence you provide leadership, best practices, research, and training in the finance data domain to improve overall performance.
Key responsibilities:
collect business requirements and collaborate with the Master Data Manager to develop solutions across all elements of the data management framework
ensure data quality, including data cleansing, for relevant data objects within the assigned Data Domain, and lead or support Master Data-related projects
identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with the MDM Operations Team to ensure their effective implementation.project member in projects that touch the relevant data domain and overlooking the other domains
ensure that request forms, upload tools, and reports are kept up to date and aligned with business requirements for the assigned Data Domain
contribute to the Center of Excellence (CoE) by supporting best practices, knowledge sharing, research, and training within the Finance Master Data domain to improve overall performance

For this role as a Global Master Data Expert (CoE) we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
at least 3 years’ experience
proven and sustained track record of successful master data process management in multi/cross-functional environments
good understanding of Finance Master Data, particularly General Ledger (GL) Accounts, Cost Centers, and Profit Centers.
knowledge of US GAAP and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) requirements would be considered an additional asset
good knowledge of Master Data and SAP
strong communication skills - verbal and written
ability to develop creative and innovative ways to improve operations of the organization
