Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in mechanical design to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of designing innovative solutions that meet customer requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical design principles and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead the mechanical design process from concept through to production, ensuring designs meet specifications and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers, to develop integrated solutions.
Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to enhance design quality.
Utilize CAD software to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing.
Perform simulations and analyses to validate design performance and reliability.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mechanical design technologies.
Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in mechanical design.
Prepare technical documentation and reports to support design decisions and project milestones.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong mechanical design knowledge and experience.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Experience with design validation techniques, including FEA and CFD.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve design issues effectively.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in product development lifecycle and project management.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical design.
Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
8-10 years of relevant experience in mechanical design.
Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
