Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Research Scholar role based at the Chennai campus. The Researcher will design and execute research projects, including formulating hypotheses, developing methodologies, collecting data, and performing qualitative and quantitative analysis. Responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, preparing research reports, drafting manuscripts for publication, and contributing to grant proposals and project documentation. The role involves collaborating with faculty members, research staff, and students, participating in seminars and conferences, and maintaining high standards of research ethics and documentation. The Researcher is also expected to support the dissemination of research findings through academic journals, conferences, and institutional platforms.
Qualifications
Strong research methodology skills, including hypothesis formulation, experimental or field design, and data analysis.
Proficiency in literature review, academic writing, and preparation of manuscripts, reports, and presentations.
Ability to use relevant research tools and software (e.g., statistical packages, data visualization tools, reference managers).
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities for interpreting complex data and drawing evidence-based conclusions.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams and present findings clearly.
Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution; prior research experience or publications are highly beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time and project milestones, and uphold research integrity and ethical standards.
Willingness to engage in international collaborations, exchanges, and continuous professional development within a global academic environment.
