Skills and Competencies
12+ years of software engineering experience delivering complex, large-scale, multi-team initiatives with measurable business impact
Extensive working experience with Microsoft SQL Server: internals, performance at scale, HA/DR architecture, capacity planning preferred
Strong expertise in Java, Scala, C#, C++, or Python, with extensive experience building scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
Deep knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, cloud-native technologies, containerized applications, and modern software architecture
Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization, scalability, reliability, and security best practices
Proven ability to influence technical strategy, lead organizational change, mentor engineering teams, and drive cross-functional alignment
Demonstrated commitment to engineering excellence through testing, observability, system health monitoring, and continuous improvement practices
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
Responsibilities
Define and execute long-term technical strategies that align engineering investments with business objectives and customer outcomes
Lead the design and delivery of large-scale, mission-critical software systems across multiple teams
Drive architectural decisions, technical roadmaps, and organizational alignment through strong technical leadership
Mentor engineers and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence
Identify and mitigate technical risks while balancing immediate business needs with long-term platform sustainability
Partner with product and business stakeholders to ensure technology investments maximize customer value
