Senior Electrical Engineer

We’re hiring an Electrical Engineer to support a U.S.-based client on a pumped water treatment project, covering power, motor controls and monitoring.
What you’ll do
Evaluate power service options (single-phase versus three-phase) and prepare load calculations
Design motor circuits, VFDs and controls
Specify flood-proof equipment elevations and enclosures, and grounding near water
Design power and data for continuous monitoring and telemetry
Work with U.S. engineers and incorporate their review comments
What we’re looking for
Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
COREN registration or eligibility
4+ years in power distribution and motor control for pumps or industrial equipment
VFD experience
AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent
Strong written English and comfort working in U.S. units
Nice to have
NEC / NFPA 70
PLC or small-controller programming
Solar PV and batteries
IoT sensors and cellular telemetry
ETAP or SKM
Commitment: Part-time. At least 3 hours a day overlapping U.S. Eastern mornings (about 3–6 p.m. Nigeria time).
