About The Opportunity
Perform the daily set up and operation of the powder coat machine, and oven. Applies powder coat or wet paint per standard work.
1. Washes and dries rack to prepare for powder coat/wet paint
2. Inspectfinishes of workpieces or finished productsto ensure conformance to quality standards.
3. Clean and maintain powder coat equipment.
4. After training - must be able to check MIL thickness/rub test. Complete oven check sheets.
5. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
6. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
7. Contribute to a team effort.
8. Maintain a safe and clean work space.
9. Ensure coated racksreceive identifier upon completion
10. Performs basic preventive maintenance
11. Other duties as assigned.
