Referment is working with a London-based FinTech that builds AI-driven, cloud-native software transforming how financial institutions run transfer agency, fund operations, investor servicing and digital asset infrastructure. Its platform connects traditional investment operations with the next generation of capital markets — including tokenised funds and digitally native assets — and, following a major strategic partnership in the digital assets space, the business is now expanding across European markets.
The Role
You will lead the company's commercial expansion across Europe, with primary responsibility for driving adoption of its Digital Transfer Agency platform. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will introduce the proposition to asset managers, fund administrators, custodians, wealth platforms and digital capital markets participants.
This is a strategic, market-building role rather than a team-management one. You will shape the European go-to-market strategy, build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of enterprise opportunities, and lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales engagements from initial qualification through to contract execution, delivering against ambitious revenue targets.
You will cultivate executive-level relationships with C-suite, operations and technology leaders, represent the company at industry conferences and executive forums, and contribute to thought leadership that positions it as a trusted partner in the evolution of digital transfer agency. You will also work closely with Product, Marketing and Delivery teams so that market intelligence feeds directly into product development and commercial messaging.
Extensive travel across Europe is a genuine requirement of the role.
What We're Looking For
Significant experience in enterprise sales, business development or strategic account management within financial services technology.
Proven success selling complex software or platform solutions to Tier 1 financial institutions.
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles end to end.
Ability to build executive relationships with C-suite and senior operational leaders, and a consistent track record of delivering against commercial targets.
An established network of senior contacts across European asset management, transfer agency and capital markets that you can leverage from day one.
Useful Background
Experience in transfer agency, asset servicing or fund administration; securities services or capital markets infrastructure; asset management or wealth platform technology; or digital assets and tokenisation.
An understanding of digital capital markets, tokenised investment products and next-generation financial market infrastructure would be highly advantageous.
