Tax Intern

Internship Summary:
This internship offers hands-on experience as a tax intern. The internship takes place in Summer 2027.
Responsibilities:

Here, you’ll have the opportunity to spend time in a wide range of Tax service areas, covering everything from business, individuals, international, state and local, and transactions tax, to global compliance and reporting.

You can expect to develop a unique insight into the company's business, where you’ll build a network of relationships in an area that influences major business decisions every day.
As the team continues to grow, so will you, and over time, you will become a well-rounded tax professional with broad experience in multiple areas of tax.
You will spend a large portion of your time directly engaged in complex compliance projects for the company's clients.
This will be balanced with research, planning, and meetings with senior colleagues.
The company focuses on a variety of industries, including but not limited to: automotive and transportation, consumer products, financial services, health and life sciences, media and entertainment, mining and metals, oil and gas, power and utilities, and technology.
Handling and supporting a wide variety of tax compliance and reporting processes.
Qualifications:
A predicted undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting; supported by a strong academic record.
A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is required, with a preference for candidates with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
Meet the minimal educational requirements for CPA licensure in the state your base office is located prior to beginning full-time employment and have a demonstrable plan for passing the CPA exam.
Excellent English language communication skills.
An interest in working with the company's team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. The company's expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.
Access to reliable transportation to/from the company office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship, now and in the future.

Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $37.50–$48.08 per hour.
