Role Description The Sr Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based at the Damoh location. The Sr Officer will support daily plant and operations management activities, including monitoring production processes, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards. This role will involve data collection and reporting, assisting in implementation of process improvements, and supporting compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Sr Officer will collaborate with supervisors and managers to resolve operational issues, optimize resource utilization, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The role may also include stakeholder coordination, documentation, and participation in audits and reviews to maintain high performance and reliability in plant operations.
Qualifications
Strong operational and process management skills, with the ability to monitor workflows, track performance metrics, and support continuous improvement at a manufacturing or industrial site.
Sound understanding of safety, quality, and environmental standards, and the ability to support compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
Proficiency in basic data analysis, reporting, and documentation, including use of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and relevant internal systems.
Effective communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams, external stakeholders, and on-site personnel.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and a structured approach to managing daily tasks.
Ability to work on-site in Damoh, adapt to a plant environment, and collaborate in a fast-paced, performance-driven setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Commerce, Management, or a related field; experience in cement, construction materials, or heavy industry is an advantage.
Demonstrated commitment to learning, safety culture, and sustainability, aligned with the company’s long-term environmental and operational goals.
