Documentation Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Support ECN/ECR owners in processing engineering changes, tracking progress, and ensuring timely closure.
Own and maintain engineering documents required for ECN/ECR completion, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Verify ECN/ECR details, validate supporting documentation, and update records in the relevant PLM system.
Follow established ECN/ECR workflows, procedures, and documentation standards.
Perform routine PLM activities related to engineering change management, document control, and product data maintenance.
Coordinate with cross-functional team (CFT) members to obtain inputs, resolve documentation gaps, and facilitate timely completion.
Track pending activities, follow up with stakeholders, and maintain accurate status updates.
Ensure data integrity, traceability, and compliance with customer-specific requirements.
Use basic Siemens NX knowledge to understand engineering models, drawings, and associated product documentation.

Work Experience
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
3–6 years of experience in engineering documentation, PLM support, engineering change management, or a related function.
Working knowledge of ECN/ECR processes and engineering change workflows.
Experience verifying, updating, and maintaining engineering documents and change records.
Understanding of PLM systems and product data management activities.
Basic Siemens NX knowledge and familiarity with CAD models and engineering drawings.
Good communication, coordination, follow-up, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet defined completion timelines.
