About the role
You'll create and direct video content end-to-end inside Katalist, our AI video production platform. This is not a prompt-in, video-out job. We build videos the way professionals do: with control, iteration, and creative judgment across script, storyboard, and edit. You bring the taste and the craft; the tool handles the pipeline.
Work spans internal case studies, customer demos, and first-of-a-kind projects that push what the product can do (new verticals, new product types, new styles).
What we're looking for
Strong creative eye and a distinct visual style ("handwriting"), not AI slop
Hands-on experience with AI image/video tools (e.g. Nano Banana, GPT Image, and canvas-based tools like Figma Weave)
Comfort iterating and taking creative direction, including work that prioritizes customer satisfaction over your own perfectionism
Reliability and transparency on availability
Nice to have: advertising, campaign, or commercial production background
