Role Overview
As an Optical Dispenser, you play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the correct eyewear solutions. You¿ll interpret ophthalmic prescriptions, deliver, adjust, and repair eyewear, directly supporting patient comfort and vision. Your work is essential in providing personalized care and enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.

What You Will Do
Interpret ophthalmic spectacle prescriptions and eyewear orders accurately.
Properly deliver, adjust, and repair eyewear for patients.
Ensure all eyewear meets patient needs and prescription requirements.
Complete required training courses as directed by Henry Ford OptimEyes.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous computer experience and basic math skills.
Previous customer service, hospitality, or retail experience.
